Sensing the Digital / Digitally Capturing the Senses

This one-day symposium investigates how the digital can capture and mediate the senses. The morning will be devoted to the difficulties of digitally capturing physical objects, with a focus on manuscripts, while the afternoon will consist of a series of short talks dedicated to each one of the five senses.
